Together with co-producer and guitarist Danny Caron (Charles Brown) and fellow songwriter Tony Stead, Rose pulled together an impressive ensemble of Bay Area artists in order to create an ardent and intimate atmosphere from the first note to the last chord. Salty Hammond B-3 organ grooves are interlaced with more traditional piano and guitar jazz ensembles, delivering a mix of jazz standards and original compositions.
